CrossFit athlete Rasmus Andersen shares some tips on proper technique of rowing in this video, which is presented by Tabata Songs.

While in Boston for the East Coast Championships, Rasmus Andersen stopped by CrossFit TILT, which was still under construction at the time, to share some tips on proper rowing technique. Andersen, who was born and raised in Denmark, is known as one of CrossFits best rowers.

“Rowing is one of my favorite movements in CrossFit,” says Rasmus. “I am a bigger guy, so my weight helps. I also really like doing anything with a barbell.” Andersen cites bodyweight movements, such as pull-ups and muscle ups, to be his least favorite movements. However, that hasn’t stopped him in the 2016 CrossFit Open, which has included several bodyweight movements in the weekly WODS, such as burpees, pull-ups, bar muscle-ups and toes-to-bar. After three Open workouts, with two still to go, Andersen sits comfortably in the Top 20 Worldwide.

Next week Tabata Songs will share a video of Rasmus performing a Tabata Rowing Workout.
